Reconditioned Butler System Warranty

A "reconditioned" pre-owned Butler System is described as a carpet cleaning machine that may have required repairs, parts, upgrades and/or cosmetic enhancements. A pre-owned Butler System can be "reconditioned" to practically its original performance specifications. A written express warranty with unlimited hours, covering specific machine parts for a limited 30-day, basic 60-day and extended 180-day period is included with each "reconditioned" pre-owned Butler System.

Pre-owned Van Warranty

A pre-owned "reconditioned" van sold by The Butler Corporation is described as a used van that has been subject to a thorough inspection by local independent mechanical and body shops. Anything found during the inspection that is mechanically unsound, including brakes, exhaust and suspension items are repaired or replaced. All fluid levels are checked, the engine oil and oil filter are changed, the chassis is lubricated and the engine is tuned if it is deemed necessary. Bumpers, glass and all cosmetic trim are inspected and repaired or replaced as needed. Tires that are worn "beyond reasonable" are replaced. Previous signage is usually removed and the van body is detailed which may include repainting.

The customer may be entitled to receive any remaining portion of the warranty coverage initially provided by the van manufacturer when the vehicle was new. The remaining manufacturer’s warranty coverage would depend on the age and mileage of the van or the transferability of the warranty. The Butler Corporation provides a 90-day/3000 mile (whichever occurs first), 50/50 Powertrain Warranty if the initial van manufacturer’s warranty is not obtainable. This warranty is provided regardless of whether the Butler System is new or pre-owned.

"As Is" With No Warranty

A Butler System and/or pre-owned van sold "as is" with no warranty expressed or implied, can be a carpet cleaning system or van that does not require reconditioning, a unit that customers prefer to purchase before it is "reconditioned" or a unit that has been determined not to be practical to "recondition."

Note: A "reconditioned" pre-owned Butler System may be installed into a "reconditioned" van, a van sold "as is" by The Butler Corporation, a van supplied by the customer or a new van purchased from our local dealer.
